Current version of Showcase ext: version 1.5.1
This is the home page for the WP Theme Showcase ext and i18n plugin, now in version 1.50. Read about version 1.50 and download it from this post: Showcase ext version 1.50.
Description of version 1.00
A highly configurable theme showcase, WP Theme Showcase ext and i18n extends Brad Williams’ WordPress Theme Showcase Plugin. Showcase ext is able to display one or two optional indices (two different “Table of Contents”) and a . One lists the theme names as links (screenshot 1), the other displays thumbnails (screenshot 2). The thumbnail index displays clickable theme thumbnails table-wise. All these clickable images and links enable the users to go to the showcase proper (screenshot 3).
The showcase proper displays all themes located in wp-content/themes with a user-defined clickable picture and a configurable number of entries from the style.css (see screenshot 4-6 for the English edition; screenshot 7-9 for a Danish edition). If the user clicks the picture, a full-size theme picture will be shown, if present (screenshot 10).
Enter the shortcode [showcaseext] in a post or page to display Showcase ext.
Options include user-defined names of images and the number of columns for the thumbnail index. Uninstallation function. Localization support.
See more on installation etc. in the readme file: Showcase ext - readme (220).
The plugin is written in English, but it is used with Danish localization on this blog: See Temaer.

Works great, thank you
Hi,
Is there anyway to set a theme to page value? Meaning how do I add only 30 themes per page? Is there a way to create some kind of pagination? I have quite a few themes, over 700 and it takes the page a very long time to load.
Fantastic Plugin, I love what you guys did with it

No, this is currently not possible. In the version that runs on this site I have added widgets. I need to convert them to the new WP 2.8+ widget class. After that I will take a look on whether it will be possible to add pagination. I think I will need to rewrite the plugin, so it may take some time. However, my development version supports shortcodes with parameters. It would be quite easy to filter on theme names. You would then have to add a number of shortcodes. Not an optimal solution, but an interim one perhaps. What do you think?
Thank you for the kind words.
Hi, amazing plugin
Im having problems showing default them thumbs. I got the red “x” instead and the image URL is:
hxxp://localhost/atlantis/wp-contentC:/wamp/www/atlantis/wp-content/themes/AeroBlue/
As you see its a home-test wordpress installation.
How can I correct this? Thumbs in wordpress theme menu its working fine.
Thank you
Hi,
Thank you for your nice words.
The problems you experience are caused by new functionality in WordPress 2.9. Unfortunately, I am not able to fix it right now. The plugin will work fine under WordPress 2.8. I will fix it eventually.
