Current version of WP Theme Showcase ext and i18n is now version 2.50. You can read the new readme file WP Theme Showcase ext and i18n PDF (465).
As before, Showcase ext can generate one or two indices, an index being a sort of “Table of Contents.”
The user may jump to any theme of interest. Showcase ext displays a screenshot and all the available information from the style.css file of each theme.
Showcase ext will look for as many screenshot filenames, as it is told to do. As you can see at this site, I have taken some screenshots of the translated themes. If such a user-defined screenshot is available (e.g., screenshot.jpg), it will be used, if its filename is listed before the filename of the original screenshot (typically named screenshot.png).
Showcase ext is also able to read and display user-defined descriptions and download-instructions from separate user-defined files. The image above shows an example from my test site, but I have not yet implemented these features at this site.
Showcase ext has a wealth of features and options that may be enabled or disabled to your liking. You can change almost all titles and messages, if you want. The options will change the generated HTML code, which you can then style by modifying the included CSS file.
As for the showcase proper, you can include or exclude almost everything. Only the theme image and the test-run or preview link cannot be disabled.
A simple debug function is included. It generates a report with almost all variables, thus enabling the admin to verify that all user-defined variables and files are as expected. If a bug has hidden itself somewhere, the debug mode may even help us to find it.
You can download the latest version from the WordPress plugins repository.
